Career point Gurukul celebrated Children’s day on Monday, 14 November 2022, with great fervour. As Children’s day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru, who was extremely fond of children, the programme clearly depicted the spirit of the occasion.

The programme was divided into two sessions  i.e, morning and evening session.
Morning session began at 9am with a special assembly conducted by the teachers, followed by an informative and inspirational speech by the General manager Sir Mr Sanjay Gupta and Principal Mrs. Meenal Vasal.
The whole campus was very well decorated, looked jubilant. All the children were elated and raptured as there were traditional games organized for them. The celebration began at assembly area by some traditional fun games like Lemon race, three legged race, steal the becon, hurdle race, khokho etc. Gurukulites were overjoyed and played all the games enthusiastically. Many pupils won medals. There was  jollity, hooting , dancing and loud cheering all over. The whole environment was gleeful filled with relish and jocundity. The highlight of the morning gala was YOUTH PARLIAMENT,  wherein our young Gurukulites engaged themselves as ministers and higher authorities. By this they got to know how government actually works. It was rather a worth watching part of the event. The cessation of morning celebration happened at noon.

Now, it was time for evening gala. So to rejoice this day ,the evening was planned by the Gurukulites for the Gurukulites .
The programme started at sharp 4 pm with a welcome speech by Koushiki followed by a fantabulous flashmob by grade 6th to grade 9th . After the flashmob, there were melodious songs sung by our Gurukulites Kavya Anju Raj, Cecil Uprethi, Rajnandini Shah and Hritik.
To make the children’s day evening more memorable there were two rounds of paper dance for boys and girls. Aryan Sharma and Anurag Tomar were the winners in boys category and Soumya Singh and Ishita Trivedi were the winners in gis category. We even had medal distribution for the winners of morning activities later on.
Group dance performance by seniors (11th and 12th) was the highlight of the evening. The performance was energetic,  entertaining and excellent.
The last performance  of the evening was a melodious duo song by Anisha and Anupriya. Finally, the most awaited part ,medal distribution for all the morning fun sports held and the evening ended with the game of tambola enjoyed by every member of Gurukul including faculty members, staff and Gurukulites.
