5th September, a very special day for our teachers as international teachers’ day is celebrated on this day. This day is celebrated in every school with joy & happiness. Something like that also happened in our school Career Point Gurukul.

The School was decorated, gifts were packed, the teachers were dressed in their best attire & by
9.00 AM the function had started. On the entry of teachers, they were warmly welcomed by a shower of rose petals & the school representatives the Head boy & the Head girl had applied tikka on their foreheads. Once they all settled on the chairs that were arranged for them the function started and our anchors started the function by calling Principal Ma’am Mrs. Sheetal Saraf, General Manager Sir Mr. Sanjay Gupta & all the teachers on the stage for the lamp lightening. Once the lamp lightening was done the anchors requested Principal Ma’am & General Manager sir to say a few words. We learnt that teaching is the profession that teaches all other professions. After their speech we had our head boy’s speech in which he thanked our teachers for guiding us to the right path. After that we had a wonderful music performance by our music club, they sang very beautifully & indeed it was very heart calming. Then the anchors planned some fun things for the teachers, Tejindra Sir was called on stage for a song but he got very shy & brought his colleagues _ Javed Sir, Rakesh Sir & Anil Sir except Tejindra Sir all of them danced very energetically, later we again called Rakesh Sir on the stage to sing a song. We all enjoyed when we saw him dance & sing at the same time. Then Raj Sir was called to give a speech on teachers’ day. It was very heart touching speech in which we learnt that a teacher will always guide you to the right path. After the fun we saw a very amazingly choreographed dance by the dance club members, all of them dressed in multi-coloured T-Shirts & danced very smoothly. We then gave various interesting titles to our teachers. Those titles were presented to them with wonderful gifts. In the end we sang our national anthem.
