On 26th January 1950, the Constitution of India came into force and our country, India became the Republic. We celebrate this day as a festival every year. This year it was celebrated with pomp and a show in our school.
The 74th Republic day is celebrated in Career Point Gurukul with great eclat. The school premises was tastefully decorated with tricolour balloons and national flags. Everyone was feeling very patriotic and happy because it is a matter of great pride for all of us. This celebration began with flag hosting by General Manager Mr Sanjay Gupta and Principal Mrs Meenal Vasal followed by National Anthem. The main attractions of Republic Day celebrations were the patriotic song followed by a poem recitation by Master Anshuman and a speech on freedom fighters by Ms Vidhi Gupta. The students brought the stage alive with their passion. Tricolour fluttered proudly on the school premises, while the aura was filled with patriotic zeal. We had a Certificate distribution ceremony for various winners of inter-school competition and Certificates of appreciation were also given to the faculty Members for their active participation in “JAZBA”.

BASANT PANCHAMI
Gurukul also celebrated Basant Panchami which is a festival to welcome the spring season. Everyone wore beautiful traditional attire. The aura was gleeful. The celebration began with a beautiful prayer sung by Gurukul Choir followed by a graceful Saraswati Vandana by Master Priyanshu and Miss Suchita, which filled the atmosphere with sanctity, peace and purity.

FIRE SAFETY AWARENESs CAMPAIGN
The celebration became more informative when a session was held on Fire Safety by Mr Ranveer Singh, Security Head of Career Point Universe, who explained various preventive measures with practical demonstrations on how to save ourselves during Fire accidents. He made all the Gurukulites, Staff Members aware of how to use fire extinguishers and also about the emergency exits. It was indeed an informative session.
