On Sunday, August 23, 2026, CP Gurukul Kota organized a special social visit for its residential hostel students of Classes VI to VIII to Shraddha Ashram (Karni Vikas). Living in a hostel environment teaches self-reliance, but initiatives like this help boarders build emotional maturity, empathy, and a strong sense of community beyond campus walls.
Key Highlights of the Visit
- A Familiar Warmth: Being away from home, our hostel boarders quickly formed a deep bond with the senior residents, filling the void of being away from their own grandparents.
- Serving Meals with Respect: The students took total charge during lunchtime, serving fresh, warm meals to the elders with utmost care, love, and traditional respect.
- Heart-to-Heart Conversations: Boarders sat down with the residents to share stories of campus life, listen to lifetime wisdom from the elders, and bring lively energy to the ashram.
- Lessons in Character: The experience served as a powerful reminder for residential students that empathy and community care are essential values of a well-rounded education.
The visit left our hostel students with grounded perspectives, cherished memories, and a deeper appreciation for selfless service. Thank you to the hostel superintendents, staff, and participating boarders for making this meaningful outreach possible.
