“KAI PO CHE”
Makar Sankranti, also known as Uttarayan, a festival dedicated to worship Lord Surya and also marks the end of winter.
The vibrant festival was celebrated at Career Point Gurukul on 15th January, 2024. All the Gurukulites immersed themselves in the festivities of Makar Sankranti.
The campus of Gurukul was glowing with enthusiasm as the whole Gurukul family celebrated the auspicious occasion with great pomp. Along with Gurukulites all the staff members also gathered on the ground, indulging in friendly banter to fly the kites. Vibrant kites danced in the sky giving the entire school a lively ambience and creating an atmosphere filled with laughter and fun.
The highlight of the day was a kaleidoscope of colourful flying kites in which everyone eagerly participated in this old-age tradition.
The whole blue sky was covered with kites and the aura was gleeful.
It was so heartening to witness Gurukulites and staff members in friendly competition amongst themselves.
The celebration was truly a memorable experience.
