This year, we celebrated 78th Independence day with immense pride and enthusiasm. Our school students were filled with the spirit of patriotism and gratitude towards the brave heroes because of whom freedom was possible from British.
The day began with the traditional flag-raising ceremony done by respected ma’am with the national anthem being sung by the school music club and the flag unfurled, there was a deep sense of autonomy and sovereignty. After which a triumphal parade took place.
Followed by the parade was a speech given by our junior head girl, Miss Amelia and fellow gurukulite Master Harshit Pal(12th) and a poem recited by Miss Devishi (9th).Then Mr. Kartick Sharma, our academic coordinator expressed his thoughts with heartwarming speech. Students from different grades showcased their talents through melodious performance and a graceful dance. The event ended with the principal’s speech whose words left a deep impact on all of us.
The day was a celebration of reinforcing the values of freedom, respect and community and a deep appreciation for our country. We look forward to next year’s celebration with more eagerness to continue our tradition of honoring the nation.
