On 24th October 2023, Dusshera was celebrated in CP Gurukul. Dusshera is the festival which commemorates the victory of good over evil. This day is marked by the victory of good over evil. This day is marked by the triumph of Rama over Ravana. Dusshera is celebrated with great enthusiasm.
The School was decorated, the students were dressed in their best attire. The function started by 5:30 PM. Our anchor Mrs Seema Sharma Ma’am started the function by calling Principal mam
Mrs. Sheetal Sharaf & all the students. The students were stunned by seeing the Ravan made by the art club members. It was worth looking. Our little anchor Anya Tiwari spread positivity by her thoughts and by her Sanskrit and Hindi poetry, she made everyone amazed. A skit, about the story of Valmiki also took place. The characters were Vishwapriya as Valmiki, Harshit as Valmiki father, Naman as Brahma, Priyanshu as Narad, Shashi and Divyanshi as tourist.
The skit was amazing and funny. It made everyone laugh. Then principal mam was invited for giving a speech. She motivated us with her speech and gave us some important life lessons. She told us to remove all the negativity from our lives with the burning of Ravan.
Pooja of our Own Ram(utkarsh), Laxman(Suyash), Sita(Arya), Hanuman(Tejas) was done by our Principal. All the students were waiting for Ravana to be burnt. The Ravana was burnt by Utkarash as Ram. We burnt the Ravana and with that we also burnt the negativity from our lives. A special dinner was waiting for us, with that dinner we ended Dusshera, with a successful night.
