Milad-Un-Nabi, also known as Mawlid-Un-Nabi, commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal. Muslims celebrate the Prophet’s life teachings, and contributions with prayers, sermons, and acts of charity. It serves as a time to reflect on his message of compassion and justice.
During the morning assembly, Master Abdul Ahad of class 10th ‘A’ had given speech on Eid Milad-Un-Nabi reflecting the importance of the occasion. Students of classes 6th – 8th showed great enthusiasm by participating in different activities like Short Story Writing, Poster Making and Extempore.
The themes that were given for the activities were Unity, Forgiveness, Gratitude, Charity, Faith, Brotherhood, Compassion, Humility, Sacrifice, Hope, Blessings, Generosity, Peace and Kindness.
Students chose themes to weave their words and thoughts to form different stories with morals with great zeal and creativity. Students designed different posters using the themes given to them. For extempore, students were given a golden box in which there were chits with the themes written on them. They had to choose one of them and speak for 1-2 minutes on that theme.

Overall the celebration was worth a learning experience for students that inculcated creativity and principles among students.
