On August 19th, the serene campus of Career Point Gurukul Kota was transformed into a vibrant hub of festivities as students and staff came together to celebrate Raksha Bandhan,a festival that beautifully epitomizes the bond of love, protection, and care between siblings.
The school was beautifully decorated with colorful designs, shimmering streamers, and traditional motifs that added a festive touch to the environment creating an atmosphere filled with joy and excitement.
As the day progressed, the central highlight was the Rakhi tying ceremony. Students dressed in their best traditional attire, sisters tied rakhis around the wrists of their brothers. Each rakhi was a symbol of protection and love, carefully chosen and lovingly tied.The exchange of gifts and chocolates added an extra layer of excitement and joy to the day, making the celebration even more special.
The day became more special by exchange of warm smiles and heartfelt wishes, reflecting the deep bond of affection and trust that Raksha Bandhan celebrates. It was followed by a delightful feast of sweets. Tables were filled with an assortment of traditional treats, from sugary laddus to delicious barfis. By recognizing and celebrating the diverse relationships within the institution, Gurukul exemplifies how traditional festivals can adapt and thrive in modern settings while retaining their core values.
The Raksha Bandhan celebration left students with cherished memories. The combination of creative activities, cultural performances, and festive food created a memorable experience that students look forward to each year. These celebrations become an integral part of our school experience, enriching our understanding of cultural traditions and enhancing our sense of community.
