The beginning of a new academic year at Career Point Gurukul is always an exciting time, filled with new opportunities and experiences. The Orientation Session for the 2025-26 academic year was no exception. It was a well-organized, insightful, and memorable day for both parents and students. The session was designed to help families understand the school’s values, academic structure, and extracurricular offerings, ensuring that they are well-prepared for the exciting journey ahead.
Morning Session:
The day began with an air of excitement and anticipation as parents and students were warmly welcomed at the school. The welcoming ceremony included the traditional custom of applying a tika, symbolizing the start of a new chapter. Following the tika ceremony, the grand event commenced with the lighting of the lamp. The school’s Principal, Mrs. Sheetal Saraf, welcomed the esteemed Academic Director, Mr. Shailendra Maheshwari.
The first highlight of the morning session was the introduction of Career Point Gurukul which included the importance of providing a nurturing environment that goes beyond academics. Parents and students were given a glimpse into what a typical day at Gurukul looks like, from classroom activities to the various clubs that students can join to enrich their educational experience. The clubs at the school were also explained, showcasing the school’s emphasis on extracurricular activities, such as sports, arts, and cultural programs, which help foster well-rounded development.
Following this, Principal Mrs. Sheetal Saraf addressed the audience with an inspiring speech. She highlighted the school’s mission of academic excellence, moral values, and overall personal development, reassuring them that their children would receive the best guidance during their time at Gurukul.
The morning session concluded with the much-anticipated address by the Academic Director, Mr. Shailendra Maheshwari. Evening Session:

The Honourable Director, Mr Pramod Maheshwari, addressed the parents and students, sharing his vision for Career Point Gurukul. His address focused on the holistic approach that the school takes in educating students, emphasizing the importance of blending academics with character development. Mr Maheshwari also took the time to answer all the questions posed by parents, ensuring that everyone left with a clear understanding of how the school operates.
After the insightful discussions, the atmosphere lightened with a vibrant musical evening held in the beautiful school garden. The students showcased their talents by playing musical instruments, singing melodious songs, and displaying their creativity through various performances. The lively ambience, filled with music and applause, was a perfect way to celebrate the start of the new academic year.
The day ended with a delightful Hi-Tea and refreshments, offering a casual setting for parents, students, and faculty to mingle. During this time, Honourable Director Mr Pramod Maheshwari continued to interact with families, answering any additional questions and further solidifying the bond between the school and its new members.
