Career Point Gurukul presented its 12th Annual Function, Jazba, this year with the theme *“Vivartana.”
Change is the rhythm of life, and Vivartana beautifully captures this eternal journey of transformation. The beauty of the past and the possibilities of the future blend together to form the continuous cycle of life. This rhythm found its voice in our Annual Function, Jazba -the biggest event of Career Point Gurukul Kota – portraying the true spirit of passion, change, and transformation. Through dance, music, and anchoring, the stage came alive with stories of change – ideas transforming into action, dreams into achievements, and students into confident individuals ready to shape the future.
The cultural evening commenced with the remembrance of the divine through the ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by melodious reverberations from the talented voices of the Gurukulites. The parents were then addressed by our respected Principal, Mrs. Sheetal Saraf.
As an annual tradition, the Annual Report was presented before the parents, highlighting the supervision at Career Point Gurukul and outlining future plans. At Gurukul, achievers are never left unappreciated. The deserving students were honoured during the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The occasion witnessed the felicitation of students with awards and an insightful address by our respected Founder Director, Mr. Pramod Maheshwari.
The programme was a harmonious blend of primordial classics and contemporary legends. A journey from the wrath of Shiva to the serenity of Parvati, culminating in their transformation into Ardhanarishwar, was powerfully portrayed through the breathtaking Shiv Tandav performance.
Every life has a beginning, just as everything in existence does. The five elements – earth, water, fire, air, and space – which hold life together, have undergone trillions of transformations. What was once worshipped is now often exploited; resources of life stand tarnished. Awareness about this pressing reality was conveyed through the Five Elements Dance performance.
Another mesmerising presentation was the Tribal Dance, depicting how communities once discarded and marginalised now stand strong, contributing significantly to society. The metamorphosis of tribes was beautifully brought to life within the walls of Career Point Gurukul.
Every coin has two sides, and every being carries two faces – light and dark. The Gurukulites portrayed this duality with depth and precision, showcasing inner struggles, self-conflict, and the eventual rise of a new dawn filled with hope and light.
The showstopper of the evening was a performance centred on a powerful and universal cause. The Women Empowerment act stirred emotions, raised adrenaline, and left the audience teary-eyed, delivering an everlasting message for equality to flourish.
All these performances were seamlessly woven together by the anchors, whose expressive and well-modulated narrations illuminated the entire event.
The evening concluded with an interaction by the Honourable Director of Career Point Gurukul, Col. (Dr.) Mithilesh Dixit, followed by a delightful dinner hosted by the Career Point family.
