Ganesh Chaturthi, a festival honoring the Hindu deity Lord Ganesha, is a vibrant celebration marked by joy, creativity, and community spirit.
Ganesh Chaturthi is embraced with enthusiasm and a focus on education and inclusivity. We started our preparations by decorating our school assembly stage with a beautiful statue of Lord Ganesha. These activities serve as a hands-on learning experience, allowing students to engage with traditional art forms and cultural symbols.
A significant aspect of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in our school involves educational activities that impart knowledge about the festival’s significance. Teachers organize workshops and interactive sessions to explain the mythological stories associated with Lord Ganesha, including his role as the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom and new beginnings. These sessions include debates, Doha competitions, Art and Craft competitions, Poster Making and much more.
Our School frequently organise cultural performances as part of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. These performances include traditional dances, songs, and skits that reflect the poems and legends associated with Lord Ganesha. Students rehearse and perform with great enthusiasm, showcasing their talents and learning about the cultural significance of their actions.
