“Every ending marks the beginning of something new, but that doesn’t make the goodbye any easier.”

On 11th February 2026, as the clock struck 5:00 PM, the school auditorium of Career Point Gurukul Kota filled with excitement, elegance, and just a little bit of hidden emotion. What started as a regular winter evening soon turned into one of the most memorable events of the year — the Farewell for the Class of 2026.

For three and a half hours, until 8:30 PM, the auditorium wasn’t just a hall — it was a place where years of memories came alive.

The 12th graders entered in style, looking nothing like the students who once rushed through corridors with unfinished assignments. The same people who nervously faced surprise tests now confidently walked onto the stage dressed like stars attending a grand celebration. Suits were crisp, sarees were graceful, and suddenly everyone knew exactly how to pose for pictures.

The program began with warm welcomes and heartfelt speeches. Teachers shared classroom memories that made everyone laugh — from “creative” excuses for incomplete homework to last-minute project submissions that magically appeared right before deadlines. It was comforting (and slightly terrifying) for students to realize that teachers remember everything.

The most awaited moment of the evening was the announcement of the two special titles — Mr. Evening and Ms. Evening.

Amid loud cheers and enthusiastic applause, Mr. Evening was awarded to Austin Roberts, while Ms. Evening was awarded to Aqsha Quadri. The smiles, the applause, and the celebratory photographs made the moment truly special — a well-deserved recognition for both.

The stage then came alive with energetic performances. Carefully practiced dance routines lit up the auditorium, and soulful songs created waves of nostalgia. Emotional speeches reminded everyone of the journey from being new students with nervous smiles to confident individuals ready to step into the world beyond school.

Teachers looked at their students with pride, knowing they had watched them grow not just academically, but personally. Friends exchanged hugs that lasted a little longer than usual. Laughter mixed with a few quiet tears as reality slowly set in — this was their last official school celebration together.

As the clock approached 8:30 PM, the farewell concluded, but not before countless group photos were taken and promises were made to stay connected forever. The Class of 2026 may now be stepping forward into new journeys, but they will always carry a part of Career Point Gurukul Kota in their hearts.

And while goodbyes are emotional, one thing is certain —

“You can leave school, but you can never leave the group chat.”
