“A nation’s strength lies not only in its Constitution but in the citizens who live by its values.”

The 77th Republic Day celebration at Career Point Gurukul was a dignified and inspiring occasion that reflected the true spirit of patriotism, unity, and responsibility. The day served as a reminder of India’s constitutional values and the sacrifices made to uphold them.

The celebration began promptly at 8 a.m. We assembled at the school’s cricket ground, which had been meticulously arranged for the ceremony. The programme commenced with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by an impressive Republic Day parade by the students of Class 11, symbolizing the strength and unity of our country.

As the anchors introduced the significance of Republic Day, the atmosphere grew increasingly patriotic. The song “Ae Watan” was presented with heartfelt emotions, deeply moving the audience. The student speech delivered in Rashtra Bhasha Hindi was powerful and thought-provoking, highlighting love for Bharat and the duties of responsible citizens.

Our Chief Administrative Officer, Col. Mehtab, addressed the gathering with meaningful insights, leaving a lasting impression. This was followed by the address of the school Principal, Mrs. Sheetal Saraf, who emphasized contributing to the nation’s well-being and the importance of friendship in shaping character.

The programme continued with a musical performance, after which students were served lunch and snacks.

To further mark the occasion, the school screened the film “120 Bahadur”, based on the 1962 Indo-China War, depicting the bravery and sacrifice of Major Shaitan Singh and his 120 soldiers.

In conclusion, the 77th Republic Day celebration was a perfect blend of patriotism, discipline, learning, and inspiration, strengthening our national pride and sense of responsibility.
