One could see love and devotion everywhere as we celebrate Janmashtami , the birth of Lord Krishna. The playful child form of Krishna could be seen in the students, bringing the festival to life with joy and innocence. This beautiful celebration fills our school with music, colorful traditions, and valuable lessons of kindness, bravery, and faith. Janmashtami creates a warm and inspiring atmosphere where we not only enjoy the festivities but also learn to live with love and courage, just like Krishna. As the program began, the enthusiastic hosts, Aarav and Gaganjeet, welcomed everyone and set the perfect tone for the celebration. Then , as the program progressed, a melodious Bhajan competition featuring the Aravalli, Shivalik, Vindhya , and Nilgiri houses filled the air with divine vibrations, making the celebration truly enchanting. The competition was judged by Meenakshi Gupta and Ranjana Gupta, whose expert eyes and deep appreciation for devotion elevated the event. Some of the prominent bhajans performed were ‘Shri Krishna Govind Hare Murari’, ‘Manhari ka Bhesh banaya’, ‘Zara itna bata de Kanha’, ‘Hara Rama Hare Krishna’, etc.

The results were declared, with Shivalik house proudly taking first place, Vindhya securing second, and Aravalli taking third. Our honorable principal, Sheetal Saraf, warmly appreciated and motivated everyone to carry forward the spirit of devotion, unity, and enthusiasm. The celebration gracefully moved to the sacred ‘Aarti’, where the flickering flames illuminated our hearts with peace and devotion.

Next came the exhilarating Matki Fod-a burst of laughter and cheers as the pot shattered, symbolizing the triumph of joy and courage. As the festivities drew to a close, the spirit of Janmashtami lingered in every soul, reminding us forever of Krishna’s timeless message: to live with love, bravery, and unity.
