The idea was first proposed by Joyce Hall, the founder of Hallmark Cards, in 1919. However, it wasn&#8217;t until 1935 that the U.S. Congress proclaimed the first Sunday of August as National Friendship Day. Over the years, the concept gained international recognition, with various countries adopting their own dates for celebrating friendship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friendship is a unique relationship that transcends boundaries and brings people together. It&#8217;s a bond based on trust, empathy, shared experiences, and mutual support. Friends stand by us through thick and thin, offering a sense of belonging, comfort, and companionship. Research has shown that having strong friendships contributes to our emotional well-being, reducing stress and enhancing our overall quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Career Point Gurukul Kota celebrated the Friendship Day in a memorable way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many students tied one another Friendship bands and bracelets on wrists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dance club of the school performed a magical dance performance which was followed by a skit on Friendship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chemistry Faculty Miss Farheen Naaz Ma&#8217;am was the host of the show. Her sense of humour and style did not let anyone move from their seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accountancy Faculty Mr. Rakesh Sharma surprised everyone in the school when he sang &#8220;Papa kehte hai badha naam karega.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He sang and all other teachers danced together. It was a performance which will be remembered for a long period of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, Friendship Day is a wonderful occasion to celebrate the beauty of human connections that enrich our lives. It&#8217;s a time to express gratitude, create memories, and strengthen the bonds that make life meaningful. Remember that true friendships are invaluable treasures that deserve to be cherished and nurtured.
