DAY 1<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Festivals are something that binds all of us together not only emotionally but also culturally. It promotes harmony and serenity into our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first day of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated on 31st of August in Career Point Gurukul. The ‘sthapna’<\/em> for the Ganesh ‘murthi’<\/em>, sculpted by the arts and crafts club, was performed on the auspicious occasion.This was followed by aarti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DAY 2-9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the spirit of the occasion, all the dignitaries along with the students worshipped Ganesha for 8 days. Whole Gurukul Family gathered to perform traditional ‘Aarti’<\/em> accompanied by Hymns<\/em> and Shlokas<\/em> in the morning by all the students of different classes and streams as well as in the afternoon by all the staff members of different departments. The students sang along with much rapture and reverence ,offered curd and sweets to Lord Ganesha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GANESH VISARJAN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 9th September, Each and every member of Gurukul Family including management, teachers, hostel staff, guards, gathered at assembly hall to perform Hawan and Aarti followed by an elegant Indian classical dance performed by Suchita (class XI PCB) (Vice Head Girl) and Krutika (class XI PCB) (Dance Club Head). The beautiful representation of Indian culture through the dance touched the hearts of the audience. Devotion and admiration were sparked. Soon after the dance, the parikrama was performed. All the members of Gurukul held the Ganesh ‘murthi’<\/em> and took round of the campus, while chanting the melodious bhajans of Ganesha and carried the idol for the immersion. A large pot was filled with water and splendidly decorated. The Gurukul Family after serving Ganesha for 10 days , praying and getting the blessings from him it was now the time to gathered together with a very heavy heart, we did not want to say goodbye to our beloved Ganesha but with a very outside heart we had to say goodbye to him.  Tears welled up from the eyes and our heart was filled with so much pang. Ganesha Idol was submerged in the pot, with the hope that he would come again <\/a>next year, with the same joy, excitement and celebration. Gurukulites bid adieu their Ganesha demurely, amidst the chanting of Ganpati BappaMaurya . The event ended in an atmosphere of holiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

something you love deeply. Visarjan teaches you<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

to surrender to faith over intellect”<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

it also teaches us what we love we may have to leave so love unconditionally.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
