World Heritage Day is a momentous occasion that serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving and celebrating our cultural and natural heritage.
The day was tremendously and enthusiastically celebrated at Career Point GuruKul. On this day, a Social Science Quiz was designed to test their knowledge of world heritage sites, historical events, and cultural landmarks. The quiz for standard ninth and tenth was held separately. The quiz had three rounds which were the question and answer round , picture-based identification round and a rapid-fire round. There were four teams named Pallavas, Pandyas, Nandas and Mauryas. It was structured to encourage teamwork and collaboration among the students.
It was fun to watch such a tough competition between the opponents. Students enthusiastically responded to questions, eagerly discussing and deliberating with their teammates to arrive at the correct answers.
The session was concluded with a cheerful musical round in which the students along with the faculty members took part.
At last, team Pandyas from the ninth standard and team Pallavas from the tenth standard were declared as the winners. The winners and participants were certified and appreciated by the respected Principal Ma’am Mrs Sheetal Saraf and Faculty Members. Overall it was a wonderful event, it not only engaged us positively but also helped in learning about our rich heritage.
