RAAS GARBA AT CAREER POINT GURUKUL

Navratri is an annual Hindu festival observed in honour of the godess Durga. It spans over 9 nights and and 10 days celebrating the victory of good over evil. During Navratri Garba dances are performed in the the occasion to respect godess Durga and celebrate fertility and womanhood.
The preparations of Raas Garba had started since the day it was announced. A pleasing and beautiful card made along with dandiya sticks were taken by all the Raas Garba Committee Members along with Principal of Career Point Gurukul Mrs Meenal Vasal to the Head Office of Career Point to invite our Honourable Directors Mr Om Maheshwari and Mr. Pramod Maheshwari. 
The teaser was launched a day before the celebration where all the girls dressed traditionally and were looking stunning , invited management and students for dandiya.
On the 30th of September, Career Point Gurkul organised “RAAS GARBA” in the school premises.
On the day of the event, all the students, teachers and staff members wore their traditional dresses. Rounds of applause and appreciation filled the area as staff entered in their immaculate outfits. Everyone settled in the refreshment area and the event was set off.
The anchors Ms. Ekta and Mr. Ayush gave a warm welcome to everyone, calling Mrs Meenal Vasal (Principal) and Mr. Sanjay Gupta (General Manager) and all the staff to the assembly hall to perform the Durga Aarti, sung by Mr Vijay Rawal (Music Faculty). Once the rituals were done with, and it looked as if the audience could no longer hold their excitement. Sumedha Dutta’s dance drama based on Shiva-Durga captivated the audience.
The audience couldn’t help but cheer in awe and amazement for this wonderful performance. Adding to this same energy, the anchors then called upon the students to participate in a dance off between the boys and the girls. Hooting and cheering continued, even louder than earlier. The girls stepped up first and danced passionately to the beat of the music. The boys were no less and followed  next performing just as great, swaying to the melody. It seemed as if the rivalry due to the competition had boosted everyone’s already high Morales to exceptional heights. The DJ blasted music keeping up the pace and excitement throughout. When it seemed as if things would slow down, it only got more thrilling as teachers came forward to dance. The aura turned wild and explosive. The thums of the footsteps shook the ground intoxicatimg everyone with rapture. The energy was off the charts, but only went upwards when even the Principal Mrs Meenal Vasal joined in. Everyone, the dignitaries, the staff members and gurukulites danced merrily and to the fullest.
This continued all the way and the most awaited moment was when Hon’ble Directors of Career Point Mr. Om Maheshwari and Mr Pramod Maheshwari graced the occasion with their esteemed presence. The already momentous event had become even bigger with their coming. 
The judges of Raas Garba,2022, Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Mrs Meenal Vasal,  Mr. Madhukar Gupta, Mrs Meenakshi Gupta,Mrs Nisha Jain and Mrs Poonam Shivach announced the  winners of the competition.

On this special occasion, special meal was served in the refreshment area that was  enjoyed by all the students and teachers alike. The event culminated and went so well and left an atmosphere of contentment and ease.
